He is known as a pioneer of several flash memory technologies, most notably as the inventor of the USB flash drive. Dov was a founder and CEO of M-Systems (NSDQ: FLSH), a world leader in the flash data storage market. Under Dov's leadership, M-Systems grew to $1B revenue, and was acquired by SanDisk Corp (NSDQ: SNDK) for $1.6B. This ranks as one of the biggest acquisitions in Israel. Dov has invested in many successful start-ups in the digital health, media, SaaS and IoT sectors. He currently serves on the boards of Glucome, Rapid API, TriEye and Neuroblade, and was previously the Chairman of Tower Semiconductors (NASDAQ:TSEM). Dov is one of the most famous and highly appreciated hi-tech leaders in the world with many prestigious awards, such as IEEE Reynold B. Johnson Information Storage Systems Award and Edward Rheine Award (Nobel Prize for technology) and is the inventor of over 40 patents. Dov holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, in Haifa.

Professor Adam Shwartz is the Senior Executive Vice President of the Technion. Professor Shwartz earned two undergraduate degrees at Ben Gurion University and his master’s and doctorate from Brown University in the US. His research focuses on stochastic processes and their applications to the optimization of computer networks. He is a member of the Viterbi Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Technion since 1984, and holds the The Julius M. and Bernice Naiman Chair in Engineering. In 2010-2013, Professor Shwartz was Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Technion.
During his act as the Dean of the Electrical Engineering Faculty , Professor Shwartz founded the Technion Computer Engineering Center (TCE), together with Professor Eli Biham, then Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science.
Professor Shwartz was a member of several editorial boards of scientific journals and participated in the Technion committee of the project with Cornell University in New York City. In 2012-2013, he served on the board of the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute in New York, and recently completed a three-year term as Director of the Institute. In his capacity as Senior Executive Vice President, Professor Shwartz serves as Chairman of the Board of the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute.
